IMO we are a chance against Fremantle, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide (they have been shit interstate this year), Essendon* and Collingwood. |

I already know Hawks wont win more than 5 games and if the Hawks drop below us then they wont win another game for the rest of the season. They wont let what happend to them last year happen again if the oppertunity opens up that they come last. Last year they where bottom of the ladder until nearly the end when the y beat Tigers they got a win but lost ist draft selection handing Tigers Delidio. So from my point of view i only want to win a game if the Hawks win a game. If the Hawks win 2 then i would expect the BLues to also win 2 games. If we win 2 or 3 more games we will all come back next year and wonder why we didnt get the first draft picks and since we have been on the bottom for a fair time now may as well take advantage of it.. I do hope the Hawks win 2 more games before we play Collingood or the Bombers. BUt i doubt they will try and win any game from now on.... All you need do is listen to what crawford said on footy show ... he may have said he was mucking around but i reckon he was being truthful ... The Hawks prob coudl have won a few but stopped trying so they didnt. |

Tough call, on one hand you would love to beat the Tigers, Magpies and the Bombers however we must rebuild with youth and therefore remain low on the ladder. Back in 2002 I dare say no Carlton supporter wanted the spoon however now most don't care. Has our mind set and attitude to the spoon changed? Do we accept failure to easy? Prior to 2002 we were are proud club and would never accept failure however now it seems we have no other chice to bottom out and win another spoon in order to make our charge up the ladder to where we belong. Strange game this!!! |

Worst thing to have to do but for us to get any improvement next year we have to take a step back to go forward and i reckon if at the end of the season we dont get last you will see how many people will be blasting the club for missing out on Murphy Dowler prioities ect. I would rather suffer this year so that we can make the other teams suffer next year well i hope we do anyway |

We'll win two more , I fancy us today and then again Hawthorn. The Dawks i can see winning one more, Sydney at home in round 22. Just a nice way to finish off there season, and the Swanies are always a chance away from Sydney. This way they get the spoon and we both qualify for priority picks. |

Tanking or no tanking, I can't see us beating Hawthorn on the current form of both sides. What would happen if both teams were to lie down in Round 17? It would be a very embarrassing game. |

Then they followed up by handing them Tambling. |

Yes. Freo - Anyone can beat them away from Subi. Hawthorn - Enough said. Port Adelaide - We drew with them at home and they have been shocking away from home this year. Essendon* - Beat them earlier this year. Collingwood - Always a chance against the enemy. I hope we lose every game... But I think we have ome very winable games. |

Zippy's totally right, I'm especially concerned about winning the Port game and Freo, with Essendon* and Collingwood tosses of the coin. We have a real home ground advantage at the MCG over the Dome against these interstate sides |

![]() Well maybe a few draws would be better. ![]() No point winning now. May seem good if we win 3-4 more games this year but in the long run we will benefit by finishing last (or win less than 5 games). |
