Sorry if this already been covered but couldn't find anything.

The Carlton web site keeps saying the same old same old every week.

Barnaby French Lower Leg Test

As much as I like watching Bryan play and his left foot but the poor kid is struggling at the centre bounces. I counted about approx 6-8 times today where Longmuir just didn't jump and stood there and took the ball out of the ruck and got it forward.. Too easy and too frustrating to watch.

Agree, if French had played the game would have been much closer....

I'm not trying to say that if French had played that the we might have won or been closer, its more getting a contest, getting first hands of the ball, getting a quick kick into the forward line and hopefully mark/goal....

Remember Allan Jeans quote "Ruckman taps ball to rover, rover kicks ball to forward, forward kicks goal"

The clearances turned around when Prenda went in the ruck and just made a contest of it.
We miss Bananaby badly.

I suggest you study the stats for today. We got killed in the ruck today. French would have made a big difference.

He was actually on the ground with the team at the warm up. He was moving okay and kicking. I thought there was going to be a late change but it did not eventuate

But does anybody know when he will be back playing...

I saw carrots, Longmuir and simpson a few times in the centre square today.... Thought Kouta's impact in the middle was the turnaround in the second qrt, gee we will miss him... anyway..

But does anybody know when he will be back playing...

Stats don't mean jack sh@t ( sorry Jarusa )

So many times I see a opposition ruckman get the tap-out but they lose the clearance.

The Freo midfield were spoonfed by their ruck in the first 1/4.

Thanks Effes, Wojee.

I wonder how accurate that is... Jez's report sounds encouraging.
