Could this happen next week?

Judging by the reports in the VFL section, Karl has been getting better every week and this week seemed to really play like the player we all know he is.

Will Pagan bring back him back for the Hawks game?

I hope so - if not then the decision has been made.

Does anyone in the know have any info on his attitude? Has he improved at all? If not then I'd rather see us get pummeled then let someone who doesn;t want it get a gig.

Would be interesting to try him on Williams(ala Matera). He may be quick enough. Would leave Livo to take Spider when forward or anyone else who has some height. Depends if we're trying to win the "wooden spoon cup" :?

Norman should be given one last chance to see if he's turned it around, but will be interesting to see if the MC given him that chance!!!

By all reports, his form at the NB's has been good.

Yep I think he will come in. Unless Pagan gives Morrell the nod to play down back. I was thinking today that Karl would have been handy on a few of the dockers.

How bad is T-Bird's injury - has anyone heard?

I agree with Grrofunger that Digby will probably come in for Brett.

Digby into the side allows the coach to use him Lance or Waite as a key position forward or defender although given that the Hawks have Williams as a key forward we might be better going with a fast smaller player and give either Wiggins, Sporn a final chance or bring in Bentick for the midfield.

Then again the MC might leave Teague and Livo to take there 2 bigger bodied forwards and put Barnaby or DeLuca on the LTI list and elevate Carlos to play as a ruckman.

Gee we mightn't have had a lot of injuries but the ones we have had have been to the players important to our structure.

I think Morrell will come in but I would give Karl another chance regardless of Thornton's injury, just a last chance to see what he has.

Weel, if Karl doesn't get a guernsey against the Hawks, then it is well and truly all over for him.

Hadn't thought about Digby coming back in.

On form you'd have to say Diggers would get the nod but DP knows Diggers' capabilities where as Karl is surely on the brink and should be given one last chance to show a bit of passion for the game and escape the axe.
Bring back Karl I say.

Definitely Karl next week.

In: Karl Houla
Out: T-Bird Walker

Fair is fair, 1AW needs to gain touch.

P.S: I'd also like to stay on Luke Blackwell please, thx

Been thinking about this... If Karl doesn't see T-Birds injury as the catalyst to train the f*cking house down this week then it should be curtains for him I reckon.

If anyone goes to training can you keep an eye out?

Is it just me or does it seem pointless playing Fevola when he is clearly carrying a groin injury?

Surely there is no assistance to Fev or the team having him play hobbled and down in confidence. Bring in Morrell to cover him at FF and let him take a few weeks off.

Then bring in Karl for Bret - I agree with others' statements. Give him one last shot to prove his desire.

you muppet,

the bloke has been in our best 3-4 for the past 6 wks and your prognosis after this wk is to banish our most talented youngster to the magoos.

pull your head in!

Hooray someone who looks at the 2nds reports and realises that you reward the best in the 2nds not someone who has improved!!!!!!!

By the way if French is ready surely he'd come back?

Is hartlett up to playing a trial?

We dont need to be dropping Walker...what has he done so wrong we need to drop him...we need walker with more games under his belt in the seniors not the Bullants..
His form has been very good....look what he learnt form playing Akermanis..how will learn playing on some dud in the VFL....he tries hard....have to reward talented kids who put the effort in..not drop them...
