I'm going for a Deano style "Yes-a-thon"... to the extent that I say "YES BY ELEVENTY-BILLION TIMES MORE THAN NO"! I don't care that "they" are sniggering, that "they" have consigned us to years of misery unless we get the pick, that "they" think no matter what we do, Hawthorn are going to smash us anyway.... What matters to me is that "WE" know we have troubles, but that "WE" have a soul greater than any other club in the history of VFL/AFL. Sure - I'm a die-hard optimist that is living on past glories, but that's teh by-product of our club's hard-won history. Just think - if we'd matched last year's effort, we'd be getting compared to Malthouse's two GF Magpie teams for punching above our weight - rather than being compared / comparing ourselves to basket case clubs..... The bare minimum I ask is for an obvious effort - anything beyond that is not within Pagan's, the player's or my control when all is said and done.....
