Heard on the radio that Fev accused Longmuir of biting during Sunday's game and that it became obvious during the inquiry that it was made up?? What the hell is this about ? |

Yeah I heard he'd mentioned it to the umpire during the game. When it went to investigation last night apparently Fev said it didn't occur. |

OK - there is more to this and shows the AFL has a vendetta against Fev. 1) Fev complains during the game that he has been bitten. 2) Fev gets a visit from the AFL investigators and withdraws his claim. That does not mean he did not get bitten - he just does what most AFL players do - "what happens on the field stays on the field" 3) And this is the interesting one (according to The Age): Quote: The AFL chose to publicly embarrass Fevola rather than fine him for the false claim. The league last night released a statement on the investigation, a move it has rarely taken as it usually keeps such matters confidential.
So the fact a player withdraws an accusation is not an unsual occurance - but only in this case the AFL choses to go public. |

If fev has been singled out why doesn't the club ask why? -Publically. We got some raw decisions on the weekend, the out of bounds that wasn't the Pav mark via Red, etc. Collingwood lose 14 seconds and you'd think the game was a farce. |

I think you will find that only applies to first year player's not new contract's,he can say he would like to be traded at the least he has to fully agree with the clud he is going to be traded to. |

All very suss. You don't claim someone bit you if nothing happened. Biting is a low act. God only knows what's happening in Fev's head half the time, but why would he make up a biting story? He had nothing to gain. You maybe on to something Ponky. Did Fev take one for the team? Regards Pedro. |
