I know there's a few posts about this already, but what the heck, I felt like starting a new one.

Congratulations to the Club for putting this up on the site, and even starting a poll. Big issue, very big issue.

As your "friend" would say Furry Muff molsey... actually I'm surprised the club approved an article about tanking to begin with.

So was I.

I was off sick yesterday and, with daytime TV as boring as it was, was thinking about some of the arguments on TC, and wrote this about it. I self-edited a few points out, but was very impressed that they put it up promptly, added some important info from Collins - my very first Collo quote! - and then set up a poll.

Very impressed with the Club; its good that they let the issue be raised.

Cant say i'd be surprised if it wasn't there tomorrow though!

It is behaving as badly as it did for me this morning, but by checking the poll archive, I see it is 65% Pride, 35% Picks...

I'd bet a left one (not my own, need it too much) that this will be covered in the papers tomorrow (35% of Carlton people favour losing, etc etc) - you may find yourself the subject of a Patrick Smith rant.... :)

Looks like we are playing for picks reading Collo's little bit of spin.....its like when the coach is under the pump and the president comes and out and says the coach has my full support....yeah right....

I heard there was a kerfuffle over this and the AFL instructed CFC to remove this poll. Read all about it tommorrow.

I really hope so.

If that happens, I'd expect the Club to give me a right of reply. And because I don't work for the club, it could be pretty blunt. rest assured if that happens I'll be on here for some inspiration & further commentary on his failed cricket career.

For 2006, the word that comes to mind is...

"Murph"
