....would you bail Carlton Football Club out of its financial troubles with a donation to cover its debts and then some? |

Absolutely. But I'd want: (a) not necessarily a seat on the board, but certainly some say in where the money goes. The last thing I'd want to do is fund some stupid grandstand. (b) some form of exalted status. you know, a carparking spot at all the games, access to the rooms post-match and the players available for my kids birthday parties. (c) no publicity. |

YES! But i would hire some top-notch people that i know will take the club to the next level ALA-Eddie & Collingwood! Then i would hire College Cheerleaders! A dozen of them! Then i would redevelop Princess Park into the most amazing training centre Australia has ever seen and name it after Kouta! |

Why make a donation to Carlton when not enough baby whales are getting harpooned? |

Then i would pay Sandra Sulley to strip for me and wear a carlton jumper to bed whilst i watch Kouta highlights on my 358cm Plasma! ![]() Whoops.....sorry............took the fantasy just that little bit too far! |

I like how John thinks and agree with him. Some say in where the money went and access to the rooms post match. I think that'd be enough for me. |

I'd probably try to hire the right people to turn the club around. I'd also look at owning some form of consultancy company. This company would then headhunt Chris Judd to be some sort of analyst, at 1.3 million bucks a year. Unfortunately, this job is based in Melbourne however, so you might need to DEMAND A TRADE TO A MELBOURNE BASED CLUB. HMMMM, CARLTON WOULD PROBABLY BE BEST. And I'd make a 17 foot tall solid gold statue of Simon Wiggins. |

Rich people dont get rich by donating money to a football club. Which gets me back to what is Graham Smorgon actually doing on the board? I cant see how his presence as vice president has positively effected the footy club. |

I'd want full say in personal moves and coaching appointments Coach: Brett Ratten Backline Coach: Steve Silvagni Midfield Coach: Darren Hulme Forward Coach: Adrian Hickmott Tackling Coach: Dean Rice Players form will be judged solely on 1%'ers, tackles, sacrificial act's Wins rewarded with passes to Men's Gallery Losses punished by my own personal 3 hour pep talks talking about the great days I've had at the football and droning on and on about how players should be more like the Fab 5 coaching staff. Posters of Sticks on every wall and a 15min prayer in front of the great man before every game. |

Similar to john, but I'd want a say where the money went, definitely exalted status...goes without saying.... And LOTS of publicity, because I'd do it through my company name. I'd love my company logo on the jumpers for a year.....very nice. |

We have the hottest gals cheering the guys on the field maybe we start winning games ha ha Bring back the Bluebirds I too was once an admirer of our 'girls", unfortunately some benefited by the distance from the masses. One Saturday i can recall the girls up and close in the Social Club selling raffle tickets.Unfortunately there were some who could be described as "mutton dressed up as lamb".One lady in particular caught the eye of this tall supporter by wearing what appeared to be a mohair singlet! ![]() |
