I think I hear the salary cap stretching at St Kilda, and we'll offer you pick 19 and Karl Norman for Kosi.
Any other good offers we can present to the Saints?
Whitnall for Kosi or nothing?

Even if Kosi stays they have blown their TPP wide open.. they wernt banking on Kosi playing this well and having his worth upped by that much.....

Its great to hear the fuppers squirm... as a matter of fact they cant get anywhere near Kosis minimum... im sure Kosi will probably take even less than hes asking them for but he is miles away from what theyre offering......but rest assured.. if they had it they would pay it...

Although I am not getting my hopes up as St Kilda is a protected AFL species...

let's hope Kozi can see how Greg Williams's career improved once he came to the Blues.

I know this sounds cornny.......but I have been thinking recently about the legacy that Bob Chitty, Jack Wrout and Bert Deacon - all those great players of the 1940's - left at this club. We owe it to them and to all the others that have worn the Carlton colours to keep striving to make this club better. We are all part of a legacy and we have to take ownership of the club.

Young talent is a must at least we can build a team around him. Although it is a risk to pay big money for an injury prone kid its a risk we need to take. Altough it might not happen im still excited :lol:

We need a bit of luck but its good to see the club chasing quality..Kosi is the type of player who we need for a variety of reasons ..I would offer him the captains job...and give him a longer term deal than what Collo is giving everyone else. To get quality into the club we may need to be more flexible with contract length...its goes against my ideal world of only having players on 2-3 years contract max but with real quality you have to offer something better than average to land them...

For blokes like Walker Waite Fev to have a chance of being in a super side a player of Kosis ilk is a must.
He is offered a longer contract because you have to make it very attractive for a player like that to come.

The chances are we wont get Kosi... but the board is doing everything they can to snag him.
It isnt easy to get a player to leave a premiership threat ( they are a premiership threat and have players like Kosi cos they drafted them with early picks cos they were shit like us)... If we stay at the bottom as long as other clubs have we too will get more champions....

No short cuts.
Kosi is just another piece in the puzzle.

If we cant taKe him we have to grow our own Kosi...

Thats how the world turns these days...

The chances of picking up kosi are slim.
But this signals to out of contract players that Carlton is in the market. It will force clubs to sign their stars. If we can drive some prices up, TPP of other clubs will be tight.

Kosi has been offered a "mediocre contract" thats from a very good source.
He will stay for less but he has his livelihood to look after...
400k will keep him.. probablly even a litle less than that... but not peanuts.
If StKilda could easily find more they would offer it.
It wasnt what they expected... he came back too soon and played too well..
Just in the nick of time i reckon!!!! :D
