Yes it seems if the Hun have a chance to put the 'boot' into Carlton they will do it..... but hey if there is positive news about the club they don't want to know about it....

Yesterdays tax shock came courtesy of a Caroline Wilson exclusive in The Age. Today Carlton Chase Kosi tells us Karen Lyon of The Age. No mention in the other paper. Press conference called for the 3 way signing yesterday. All media invited. Herald Sun wrote: Collins wouldn't divulge the length of contracts signed by Waite, Walker and Livingston. The Age wrote: Walker, selected at No. 2 by the Blues in the 2003 draft, was given a two-year deal worth just under $200,000 a year, while Waite has signed a three-year contract worth more than $700,000.
Livingston, who was selected at No. 4 in the 2000 draft but has been hindered by injury, was given a one-year deal to rebuild his career. The Hun had an anti Carlton board agenda during the Maxwell Gratten saga...They were digging up Laurrie Kerrs widow along with all sorts of people from 100 years ago to drum up 'Stay at Optus' support. They ran with him all the way through.When he fell over nobody wanted to know him.... The only journalist that was interested in the other side was Mike Sheahan. The Age though were very much on the 'Support this Club' bandwagon... and gave 2 sides to the story. |
