Sad news.

First Buzz, now Ralphy.

Not a good time for navy WA forwards.

Ross Ditchburn might be feeling a little concerned right now.

I remember watching him for the rezzies quite often on Auntie during the mid-80s. Always looked too good for that level. Vale.

I always loved this bloke.
Ever since his first game.
Expected him to win us a Flag.

Great set shot kick at goal.
Head over the ball.
Miss that these days at Carlton.

RIP.

One of favourite blues players of that era, loved watching him play. Super quick long and straights leads, then long, thumping, accurate goals with a classical kicking action.

Was a super athlete who was apparently good at every sport he tried.

Yeah , perfect description . Those leads and the booming kicks , wow , just wow . He really looked like a footballer from the top of his head to the tip of his toes . First time he ran onto the ground you new he could play and play he did kicking a bag against the Roo's out at Waverly Park .
RIP.

Came on here to write exactly the same. Poor form Blues. RIP Ralphy. I'll add 22 to my supplementary numbers tomorrow night.

Remember him seemingly appearing from nowhere to kick a huge bag possibly at vfl park. Sad news indeed

I remember him coming from Perth in 82. Good size and good runner.

Yeah mate , he slotted 9 goals on debut against North out at Waverly Park . I was there , it was a phenomenal performance . He kicked the ball as well as Peter McKenna . Shit he could roost it .

Reminded me of Melbourne Full Forward Darren Bennet who went on and was punt kicker in US.

Big kicking action, and a loooooong straight kick.

No news on Ralphy, but the club will wear a black arm band for the burying of the much-loved Geelong salary cap investigation
