2.6 vs 11.3 in the second half, were their shots really that much easier than ours?

Went interstate with a VFL team. A lot of our lesser lights played good footy. Cowan, Evans, good experience for Lord tagging Serong. White tackled well. O'Farrell getting his first goal. He's being beaten for strength but he's courageous and IMHO, he's going to bet a gun. Williams had a couple of average moments but his ball use is our best. Hewitt being able to hunt the ball was great.

Not so good? When we had momentum, Harry was putrid. We just needed a forward to stand up and give us a ground ball at worst. His contract is a millstone around the neck of our list managers.

For a start the players had a crack but when the whips start cracking we go to water
We have no leaders out there as usual
Freo won the clearance game after half time game over

O’Farrell hope it isn’t an ACL didnt look good
Loved some of the young guys
Young has some go
Moir didn’t have a great impact and should of kick that goal in the last but you can see he has class
Lord did well on Serong. Serong got off the chain a bit in the second half but Lord didn’t let up
Carroll had a good first half but quiet after that. Does have a future
Cowan was excellent
Will White shows something has a future

So there is a future at Carlton
Want to see Charleston Wilson and O’Keefe given some games in the last 3 weeks

As for the negatives
McKay is infuriating. His head often is not in the game
Williams does some good things but under real pressure is often very ordinary
Motlop tries hard but is too slow in the footy mind. Not a smart footballer
DeKoning ordinary after a good start piss off to the Saints
Hewett was great
Cripps had his best game of the season
An enjoyable day despite a very cold Perth

Haven't looked at stats but appeared TDK took more centre bounces in 2nd half.
When HOF went down i would have put TDK behind the ball and went with Pitto and Harry in Ruck.
Their talls caused us headaches in 2nd half

Had a big crack.
Coaching killed us. Totally out coached in second half.

2.6 vs 11.3 in the second half, how’s that down to coaching?

AFL
@AFL
"Unfortunately it looks like an ACL so shattering news for us and in particular him."

Michael Voss on Harry O'Farrell's injury.

2 ACL's to first year players. Terrible luck.

Crap
O’Farrell looks a beauty
A year getting the knee right
Get the upper body stronger
That’s footy

Maybe no SOS or O'Farrell. Haynes a year older. Lewis Young appears to be contracted for another year.

This club is cursed

HOF going down sums up our awful year

Unfortunately issues around injuries has been an issue for a very long time

Pretty fortunate we have a big supporter base as we are heading into Fitzroy territory

We are not seeing a flag for at least 5 - 10 years

We’re cursed. Can’t convince me otherwise.

I know it's just luck of the draw, but I reckon that's at least 4 players over the years to get knee injuries against this mob. Kreuzer, Brad Fisher, Charlie (PCL) and now HOF. What is it with these pricks?

Expected score

Fremantle 73.7
Carlton 61.5

For a badly undermanned side I thought we had a red-hot go but were outclassed in the finish .
