Anyone know, if this game will be a full dress rehearsal, with only the standard 5 on the bench? ie 23 players?

Will train on players futures have to be decided before next Wednesday in order for them to play?

I presume it is a full dress rehearsal Bondi ie in terms of quarters being 20 minutes with time on

As for 23 players I think the last few years the AFL have allowed clubs to play more than 23 players in these matches

Having said that I understand that train on players can’t play - so must sign EH and the Derker before Wednesday so they can play in practice match

I'm pretty sure it's only 23 players.

I doubt we sign Derksen before the match . Probably wait until afterwards in case there's another injury that needs to be considered first before the deadline.

Hmmm…..

he said Cody Walker was “running away from the group”…!

That can’t be good….

how far do you think he ran…?

An injury to a small/ medium/ midfielder type we have cover for. Why wait for another KPD to go down because pulling the trigger. After all, its just insurance. We have plenty of depth in all areas other than KPF and KPD, with the latter our current concern and arguably the jumping ruck. Maybe being cautious incase a ruck gets injured???

Perhaps the club knows Haynes and Weitering are short term gaps, who will push out Derksen and Gov.

HOK isnt a guarantee to play AFL this year, and Motlop shouldn't be.

Still 8 days to make decision. I think they will add Derksen if he plays vs Geelong and plays another good game. Pressure on spots.

BF rumour that Derksen & Elijah both to be added as soon as today. Must want them playing on Wednesday to have our r0 team out there, or as close to as possible

I think they are also v keen to lift the nickname quality and Derksen just has that written all over his name!

Reidy preferred over HOK. Will be interesting to see how they both go this year.

Pumped to see Derka Derka Muhammad Jihad play tomorrow against the Geelong talls, too.

No Newman. He’s no chance to play OR now. Glad Evans is back.

It looks like HoK has lost the 2nd ruck/forward selection battle to Reidy.

And Boyd ahead of Wilson is a bit interesting too.

...and for the Cats, Tanner Bruhn is back after being sidelined for over 12 months with that horrible finger injury.

The new recruits usually get an inside run for early games
