I don't really care who comes in or goes out. The game plan after half time is so diabolically bad it won't make a shit of difference. Melbourne will torch us The whole competition now knows we are flaky and useless after half time for the second year in a row |

Two weeks in a row we haven't been able to raise a gallop . From what I see I don't reckon we are far from a fit side . Can barely walk after half time . Two weeks in a row we have made the opposition look good with our inability to chase and apply pressure . |

It was mentioned in the pre-season how much fitter Hayward and Florent were and that they were surprised at our level of fitness or lack of it IIRC. And if that is the case we need to do an 8 day running block of hard running followed by skills sessions at the end of each day when they are gassed. Preferably doing handball chains up and down the ground for 4 quarters, twice a day. |

Here me out. This fitness thing. In second halves is there a change in game plan. We seem to hover in bunches and flood back get the ball and swarm forward again. Once we lose the ball, easy for the oppo to run freely into goal. And it shits me to tears watching the oppo defenders run the ball out without contest as we run to flood black. This has to be tiring and taxing footy. Surely. If you notice the easy goal against footage, we have 4-5 players near the ball against a couple of players. Like why? Where do you think their matched players are? Sorry hard to explain. Probably someone can explain better than me. |
