Today there is a judgement on the case.
With the courts you dont know which way these things can go.
If Whitehead wins the club will continue the fight... however if the club wins its game set and match.

On the ATO thinggy, the club will fight it and has a variety of options to follow.

Does anyone else yearn for a time when the main topic of conversation was actually to do with stuff on the field.

Thanks for the update Synbad - fingers & toes crossed.

Quote:
Former Carlton footballer Adrian Whitehead has hit a legal hurdle in his attempt to sue the club for what he said was a career-ending foot injury.

Justice David Byrne made a preliminary finding in the Supreme Court that Whitehead's claim should be dismissed.

But he said he would hear more submissions from lawyers in the case before making final orders.

Don't think we have any choice but to fight the ATO ruling.

Gee we seem to be spending a lot of time in the courts of late. Hate to see the legal bill.

With Mr Wilson QC on the board, we should be given 'freebies', otherwise at next election, I'm voting him out.
