So how do you think how he has been going?

I think this question is a bit broad.

Is it in relation to the match day? if so, I think he is a little on the average side. Even with this crap list, he has demonstrated slow tactical changes and a lack of a real "Plan B"

Ask me again once he's got a decent list to work with.

Yep, I reckon you're spot on bc - I would have put fantastic if I didn't have lingering questions on why we seem slow to adapt our game plan at times. I rate him on almost all other decisions, but game day seems to go irretrievably off the script far too often.....

Brilliant.
In one season he's won a pre-season competition with a bunch of underdone kids and overated hasbeens gaining the club valuable exposure and dollars, whilst also pinpointing the "poison" amongst the playing group and exposing them throughout the season to justify the upcoming purge and culture change that's needed whilst also gaining the best available draft talent to begin the new fairdinkum Pagan era. Brilliant.

Has any team ever been in the position that they won more pre-season games than they have games in the entire home and away season? We must be close to at least obtaining one record this year.

Still, he won, won of the two premierships on offer this year, so you can't complain, there are going to be 14 other teams in the comp that walk away with nothing.

however, I must admit I was searching for the crap option too.

so productive Mark.

what next a poll on the baord?

On the office staff?

just think this shit doesn't help the club at all. But then i think it'd be stupid to sack the coach too.

Has any team ever had a leadership taking so much money and giving so little in return?
Has any team ever been this short on talent? Penalised what we have been penalised?
Has any team ever exceeded all expectations and won the Wizzer and ten games last year with so little???

In fact not only are we spoilt by premierships but we have been spoilt by winning ten games last year....

Were shit!!!!!!

Denis has been OK without performing the miracle that many hoped he could.
I don't think anyone could have done a better job given our list and off-field problems, but I reckon most would've done a worse job.

I am still wondering... All of you critics have a lot to say... What would you have been doing better, we have had a 6'1" bloke going up against 6'5" blokes all year, cause we don't have anyone else down back to do the job... We might as well be the Kerang under 16s with the squad we have.

Let the man get on with his job and we will be rewarded...

Synbad, what leadership responsibilities does DP and his coaching panel have? We're spending a million bucks on coaches, surely they have some responsibility for the team's performance, surely we expect them to provide leadership, they have to do more than give excuses. We have an ordinary team, playing without any discernible spark, skill, strategy or interest. Players responsible ? - Sure. Coaches responsible? Absolutely.

DP is there for 3 more years and he has a huge challenge ahead of him, but we have to have changes to his coaching panel. We have to get someone young in to think strategically, to communicate with the players, to challenge entrenched ideas and do things DP doesn't do well. Players certainly share responsibility for our plight, but I don't know how anyone could excuse the coach responsibility for what has happened over the last few years.

I think you will see restructuring around the club including the match committee...as well as playing group.

But dont think we will make the eight next year with the list we have.

We have the WORST list of any club of the last 5 years.

Wont be turned around overnight just cos Blue Mark is a tripper....

We will need time.

Gotta love the Synbad, slams me for suggesting that changes need to be made in the off field staff, even claims the coaching staff have been re-signed for three years. AND then admits that there will be changes at years end.

Calls me a tripper :garthp:

Mark, think you'll find Kernahan is the one "match commitee change" Synbad is reffering to.

You are a tripper because if we bring in more picks to the club the focus in coaching will change from winning(which we cant do) to development. as the dynamics change more so.

Thats pretty hard for you to understand though isnt it???
