Yeah.
Just finished reading that article.
Well done, guys.

I think Carrots would have to be our best rookie elevation since T-Bird.

bentick, was elevated then promoted in a similar fashion to carrots. hasn't kicked on as much though mainly due to lack of chances, but he is a few years younger.

Not sure about the carrots nick name though. To a group of friends he is CHIPS - the love child of Peter McConville and Eric Estrada

I coined a nickname for him last year "Franco" (after Franco Cozzo) which M&D used for a while... what ever happened to that? :P

For the record. Strange but true.

He picked up 'Chipper' when he played in Under 15's for Knox Eagles. Word has it that he chipped a girls tooth while engaged in a game of tounsil hockey with her.

He got 'Frankie' down at Geelong. His mother's family come from the same group of islands (Eolian Island) off the coast of Sicily, as Frank Costa. Frank Costa announced this to the players when Andrew arrived down at Geeleng as a rookie.

Top story. He's certainly grabbed his opportunity with both hands. Carrazzo is one of the few reasons to keep going to the footy. Looking forward to watching him develop as a midfielder for the remainder of the year. What are his B & F chances? Top 5? Top 10?

I just loved how against Hawthorn he continued to try to take them on whilst so many players had dropped their heads against the team otherwise known as the worst in the league.

Whatever the nickname, am very happy that Andy has turned it on.

Interesting points:

* Loves being next to Kouta - said Kouta always has time and advice for the younger players
* Says Pagan is prepared to give hima full shot at an on-ball role.
