Tough assignment for whoever.Port don't have another gun forward at the minute and rely on Dew and similar players to kick 3 or 4.Whitnall will probably get the job given last weeks peformance.Livo may not have the strength.Thornton may be back and I think we will need him.When do you think the big hairy irishman will get a go in defence in the seniors.He was good in the twos and seems to have improved.Should they take a risk and play him allowing Whitnall to run havoc up forward.We have nothing to lose And quite frankly I think it is time to try it.If he gets his arse kicked early we can always make the change. |

Don't think Whitnall will play up forward. Pagan was impressed with the way the forward line worked on Sunday. Whitnall will most likely get the job on Tredrea. We need to worry about guys like Ebert and Dew - those types have given us a lot of trouble this year. |

Either way Livo, lance, Bryan, probably all three at some stage., and who knows who else, all comes back to midfield pressure. |

Kouta started on him last time and got killed Lance moved onto him and shut him down. I would play Lance on him But for you tankers will stick Trent Sporn onto him I, however, want to win and I hope Big Re gets him. |

Port will be desperate..I would expect them to go tall up forward and probably have a combo of Tredrae, Lade, White, Thurstans at various stages of the game...if it gets down there often enough they will win becuase we will have the age old problem of someone like Teague being stuck with a much taller player..hopefully it might rain and the ball is on the deck more. Livo on Tredrae...did ok on him a couple of seasons back and needs all the experience he can get.. |
