Post subject:  What's wrong with Lappin?
Matthew Lappin had an absolutely brilliant season last year, was in the all australian team and was stiff not to win our B&F.

This season, escpecially the last few weeks, he's barely touched the ball, he's lost his silky skills and terrific vision, and he is having absolutely zero impact. Blokes just run through him when he attempts to tackle them. He's always been skinny, but now he cant tackle? whats he lacking?

I watch him closely because he is my favourite player, and the only structrual differance is that he's playing in the forward line this year, where as last year he was rebounding and setting us up off half back. is this pagans fault, why is he playing him out of his "best" position?

Lappo did not get benched once last season, yet this year, hes on the pine for about 20-30 minutes every game.

Whats wrong with him? i bloody well hope he sorts it out before we end up trading him at the end of the year. Is the contract playing on his mind?

He's simply tanking to ensure we pick up Murphy & Ellis. We should admire him for that, maybe even offer him a 3 year contract ! :wink: :lol:

His trying to prove the club right in not offering him the contract that his management is seeking. :shock: :shock:
