Young players consistantly showing good signs each week now. More 4 qtr consistancy on a weekly basis will result in us being much more competeitive next year.
With a clean out of duds and an injection of top talent next year is looking a lot more positive. :)

The young blokes are going great.

Some people want us to tank next year as well though.

i think the biggest positive we can take from this season is we have more options...
last year we were a one man scoring side...now we have waite chipping in regularly and fisher too, although he wasnt as brilliant today as he has been...

Tackling and defensive pressure was the best I've seen for a while.

except last year we won 10 games. and this year we've won 3.
guessing the one man team was the better.
its great to see Fisher and Waite doing well out there tho. And if Longmuir gets in a proper pre-season

We lost, but we lost to a better team who played the wet better than us. We didn't lose it in the mind.

We played to win every minute of the game and did not give in (I don't think there's ANY tanking going on folks).

Jarrad Waite, Kade Simpson great games.

Carrazzo, Fisher and Bentick probably well beaten but still showed plenty.

Great to see Lappin back in touch AND Lance, Kouta and Campo follow up their efforts from last week.

In the end, the fact that they had a fresh Brownlow medallist sitting in their forward line at the end in the rain and the umpires turncoating on us that beat us.

BTW how quick's that Danyle Pearce???

Loved Skinny's tackle on Pickett, he latched on and hang on like his life depended on it(maybe it does?). Also Wiggins bouncing up after Pickett cleaned him. Hard man our Wiggo

Even the weather gods want us to get a priority pick. Reckon we had them covered till the rain came down.

Gee Simmo is turning into some sort of player. Can we get him a goal kicking coach in the off season but.

Useless f#$@kin Pies. Why couldn't they have just won so we could have a good clean game next week? no one will believe the result no matter how it turns out now.

Fev - could be a handy 1 week ...

Could have blown them away in the first half.

Simpson has star written all over him: pace, skill, composure ... there´s only blue sky for him as his body develops. He´s already developing a physical presence ... another few kilos. Just love it when he puts his head down, hits the afterburners and takes on the tackler, fantastic to watch! Good onya Simmo!

French and Thornton are starting to come right after time out of the game.

How good is Waite!! His vertical leap is enormous! Wow, he´s going to dominate in years to come. He´d be my prefered captain over Stevo when Kouta gives it up.

Imagine if he'd held on to that screamer

I think people forget he's only young, can't we just let him play football without burdening him with the captaincy? I reckon another 4-5 years

Wiggins comes in and physical pressure on the opposition increases.

NO COINCIDENCE

Thought T-Bird's perception in the 2nd quarter was good.

Gutsy effort for him to get up from that bump by Pickett.
Even better to go on and kick the goal.
EVEN better to see the whole team mob him.

Elroy, that beer is as good as ours.
