One of his biggest supporters for the whole of his time at Carlton BUT he is letting his side down and his team mates and his supporters down by getting reported for indiscriminate acts -
I know some may be delighted about him not playing against collingwood next week but his being suspended three times in the last 2 seasons have cost the club games
Now perhaps it doesnt matter if he gets suspended for a few weeks this season now but given our present tribunal system heavily penalises repeat offenders if he is reported for even a minor infraction next year he could go for a number of weeks
Moreover the club and its supporters have shown great faith in brendan in re-signing him and supporting this decision-its about time he paid us back !!!!!!!!!!

I don't think he was that bad today

BUT

The system will be shown again to be the most ridiculous thing ever as Brendan gets suspended and Wakelin gets nothing...........Did you see those scratches on Brendans neck not to mention the facial gouging.

Brendan will get suspended and the media will crucify him and nothing will be said about the rest of the incident.

Its becoming all too familiar and ever more annoying

yes, agree...a totally innocent thing could cost him a lot of weeks if he keeps on with this reputation...i would be shattered if he cops say 4 weeks for something that would usually be worth 2, or even 1 week...

I disagree with that Frank, I reckon players like Fev, Tarrant and Hall are hard done by. I think its good to have someone in the side who doesn't take any sh!t.
Has anyone been suspended for a jumper punch yet?

Might be up for more than a jumper punch... might be 3 !!

Brendan needs a break i reckon.. if theyre allowed to give Tarrant a break Fev can have one too... fairs fair!!!

Nothing will give me more joy than losing to Collingwood next week...(Funny and twisted as that sounds)

Fev needs a break, I believe if he does not get suspended the club should tell him to have his op and the rest of the year off and get back to his best for the years aheads.

Its all about the years ahead as far as I am concerned and Synners as for losing to Collingwood next week mate I am right with ya.

I agree fev needs a rest, but not so sure whether being a little irresponsible and getting reported was so good. Having said that I think one Mr Wakelin has more than a little to worry about......

Fev has been playing with OP for a number of weeks now. When you consider the value of him as a player, especially to the team over the next few years, its critical for him to be rested for the rest of this season.

Do we really want something worse happening to him injury wise than OP by playing him for the rest of this season?

I for one say NO....

Wakelin clipped Fev with a right hook first yet Fev is the one reported and being lambasted by fans.
Weird.

Yep, playing footy every week with a stuffed leg that's gives him so much pain that he needs an injection before every match. He's a disgrace.

Stevo & Kouta need a break as well

I'm with you Synbad in regards to next week :!:
Should be an interesting game and one I am looking forward to and that may sound funny & twisted as well

To quote Mike Sheahan in the HUN this morning .........

"Carlton supporters can't lose.............

They either beat the old enemy or Collingwood records its sixth win of the season and becomes ineligible for a priority pick in the draft."

As everyone knows I have supported fev for years -I know he is injured and has done really well for the last 5 weeks given that he is injured. The injury is something he has no control over but he does have control over not getting sucked in by the likes of wakelin grover et al who merely are trying to get him in
Given he has just got a 3 year contract for significant dollars he should be aware that he is letting people down by retaliating and getting reported
