This is not meant to spark another debate about the PP, there have been more than enough of them already. Please refrain from going over old ground. It would be interesting though to gauge your opinion on how important you think finishing with less than 5 and a half wins is for winning our next premiership (regardless of ladder position). Please give your view as a score out of 10, where 10 is extremely important and 0 is not important at all. |

3 for me. Will be handy, but is not the be all and end all. |

I voted 4. Its important amongst many factors in taking the club forward, but ultimately we either deserve it or we don't. I'd be more interested in the results of 'How important is the difference between the #1 and #2 picks?' |

I voted '7', bearing in mind that its not just the 1 pp, but the package includes 2 top picks in top 4 or 6. |

I've gone for 7. While it won't guarantee us a premiership (what the hell can?) but getting 2 picks in the top 5 will certainly help to bolster the talent we have to work with. |

5 for me. it's important as it efectily doubles our chances of egtting something decent with our first two picks. the PP in isolation would just be a 3 i reckon, because they player could be anything, the next carey which would obviosuly be vital to flag chances, or could be the next James cook, or something in between the two |

I voted 7. It is an important piece of the puzzle that is our next premiership. |

Higher Draft Picks will be a factor that cannot be logically denied - 8 for me. ![]() |

more important than our priority pick i feel is the form of some of the kids. in recent weeks waite, fisher, bentick, betts, carrazzo and simpson have all stepped up and shown they are capable of playing league footy. |

![]() Higher, or earlier draft picks are not in question though. This poll is about the Priority Pick. JJD, this poll is skewed! Did you write the Republic referendum question too? ![]() |

8 for me. Hugely important. The PP gives us access to "elite talent". Something we sorely lack. Some of our kids are coming on nicely but there is always a "but" associated with many of them., ie Carrazzo goes well "but disposal", Simmo quick "but slight body", Fisher great hands "but kicking inconsistent", Bentick tough "but lacks leg speed". This is a chance to get a player who is the "complete package". |

I agree that a PP is important, but IMO, it needs to be weighed in to the damage being done to the club as a whole, which has always prided itself on a winning culture. That's where we differ from the Saints. Losers revel in losing. The system's f-cked. |

Two factors make it Very important this year: 1. Priority Pick system will change next year and will most likely not be so beneficial to the club that obtains one. 2. In a draft that lots are saying is shallow in depth of talent. Having two picks in the top 3, 4 or 5 is a huge advantage over other clubs. |

6 for mua. A PP is not the be all and end all of winning a premiership, but if we get a couple of above good to outstanding players who fill two of the positions along the spine of the ground and play for the next 10 years, that'll go a long way to helping us back to the top of the summit. |
