Here is a still shot of Waitey's attempt at MOTY in today's HUN.

Huge air from SOV.

Looking forward to actually seeing it on the replay.

This angle from The Age is great but not as good as The HUn's. :D

and thats running with the flight of the ball!

he jumped and turned to face the ball at the last second.

that would be MOTY easy had he held it.

reckon we would have won the game if he hung on.

the crowd and players would have lifted again. sensational effort jarred!

Waitey is a flower legend. And i wish our blokes could hold on to there speckys... Walkers dropped about 15 in his 30 games of footy and Waiteys dropped 3 this year (this one the best of em aswell!)

@#$%&! we have an exciting team, though.

Eddie, Waitey, Fev, Fish and T-Lo up forward! All love the big marks and arsey goals.

Simmo, Walker bolting through the middle of the ground.

Carrots dancing through traffic.

Love it :D

the amazing thing with that last pick, is that waite was coming from the left of ward, and spun around in the air to the possition you see him in. that was all leap, he's only just about to touch ward about halfway up his legs

Honestly, what is he thinking?

taking marks like that lead to:
• boosted morale
• players trying harder
• playing as a team
• kicking goals, and worst of all
• winning games

Will someone please tell him that we're all about losing now, and his father obviously didn't know what The Real Carlton spirit was? At least he had the good grace to drop it....
