The results on the weekend showed two things.

1. That teams do not tank

2. That teams do not want to finish last.

And that is good enough for me.

Collingwood disguised it pretty well.
Buckley at full forward, then told by the runner not to leave the goalsquare when he singlehandedly kept them in the game. Now he's probably going to be "rested" so he doesn't screw up their plans with his competitive instinct.

The results of the weekend showed that teams dont want to win the wooden spoon and that they want to have the extra early pick.
Lets see how many games these clubs win now theyre all on the edge of the threshold.

I am not happy. How can we let Pagan know ? Any suggestions ? Does he realise what he is doing. The worst thing is that Murphy could be going to Collingwood. How is that everyone ?

Fine by me.

I think Pagan might have a better idea than some bloke posting on a forum

Missed your contributions last week after a loss, but it's good to have you back 'fair weather'.

Bite your tongue Deano.

If anyone thinks that Collingwood wasnt out to lose, they should be following another sport

That's thoughtful, but I think I might walk the stairs. I watched Essendon* yesterday, think I may be visiting the Rialto for the first and last time. :(

I would suggest that Collingwood is tanking. Would Didak and Tarrant have played if the Collingwood and Carlton game was for a spot in the 8? Would Rocca's and Frasers seasons been put on ice if Collingwood was pushing for the 8?

Anchoring Buckley to the goal square after 1/2 time, and stating that they're thinking of giving him a holiday for the next couple of weeks is the only evidence I need.

I thought the Hawks winning was the best evidence for the Tank yet. All of a sudden when they're getting the wooden spoon they can win a game.

I prefer the Sheedy conspiracy theory. He's doing his best to deny Carlton a priority pick. Expect Hird and Lucas to be late withdrawals this week.

He will be at training on Wednesday. I suggest you interupt his press conference and raise this point. Good Luck.
