Hawthorn are clear on percentage and safe from the spoon.
It's either us or Collingwood. in years gone past the choice would have been obvious but it seems we are clearly divided on this.

So the choice:
We beat the bummers and loose our priority pick and finish 14th(pick 5 if the other two don't win another game).

We loose to the bummers and get the wooden spoon Picks 1 & 4(most likely)

I vowed in 2002 that I never wanted to experience a spoon again.

Nothing has changed. Smash the bombers and put Collingwood where they belong. GO BLUES!

I want Collingwood to win another game and not be eligible for a priority pick.

So you wanted to experience a wooden spoon in 2002?

Haha

Not quite. Perhaps my wording should have been "I want to never experience a spoon again".

Winning the spoon is a bit like losing your virginity. 2002 was the killer given it was our first but really now who remembers who wins them.

I have experienced a spoon without the trimmings. I think it is time we got a spoon with the trimmings.
