Why doesn't The Age quote TC instead of Extreme Filth!
Another case of media bias against Carlton and we are much more cultured to ever suggest tanking games! :garthp:

Feedback from Collingwood supporter website, Extreme Black and White

I still feel sick that we have to lose to go forward or win at the cost of winning in the future. :? Yet still hope they keep PPs for next year just in case.

Will the Pies go all out to win this?

Just goes to show how much behind we are as a club with our "brand".

Even in tanking we are not ranked number 1.

Haha. Well I reckon coverage like this will ensure there are big changes to PP eligibility for 2006 and beyond.

Here's some ideas from the cameldome:

1. Maximum of 12-15 wins over 3 years.
2. Only allowed 1 PP over a 3 year period (maybe 2 years).
3. After using a PP, win/loss tally starts again from 0 (so you can't tank, I mean bank, a poor season that has already contributed to a PP selection).
4. Would entertain the idea of the PP being drawn under a lottery style system, even though my personal preference would be to leave selection order as is.
5. Qualifying for a PP pushes you to the end of round 3 ie; PP1, #1, #18, #47.

Think the PP system is gone - certainly the ghost has a fair crack at it this week 8) (if they put it up) - after this year. The club thinks so too.

Mind you we are talking about the AFL.
