Got a letter in the mail from Collo today thanking me for purchasing a membership this year and supporting the Blues.

Also recieved a Last Game At Optus Oval Memorial Membership Card with the letter.

Anyone else get one?

I haven't recieved one, but then I'm a AFL member with a club support package so I might not be included.

Mr Marc Murphy

So am I and I got one and then today i got my copy of Inside Carlton

So 33500 members @ say 50 cents per mailout plus say 40c per card (i have no idea how much these are)
Is approximately $30,000

Inside carlton postage would be more than 50c but call it .50c plus I imagine the mag would work out at about $1.50 cost. This goes to only 1 per household so say 15,000 members that would be about $30,000.

So that is a good $60,000 of valuable money that the club has wasted this week - really upsets me to recieve more than one letter from the club in the same week - could have have at least combined the two. Particularly if the club is crying poor.

The plastic card is a useless piece of crap

I bet you get a price rise for next season's membership to compensate for losing guarenteed prelim final

If you can get another card off a friend or family member you can tape them together and it would make a nice drink coaster.

Yeah I got one.

Bit pointless. I'm with darknavy on this, seems a waste of time and money.

yeah... I don't want this tacky shit... I'd rather they spent the money on a worthwhile cause like, I dunno, buying Australian Idol tickets for Marc Murphy.

All I want's me membership card and a sticker for my car. They can keep Inside Carlton as well..... I don't read it.

Everything I need is on www.carltonfc.com.au ...... great articles, witty comments.... and Mike and Dan!

I got the cheapest membership that you can get. Moneys tight.
I dont know if i will get one but even if i am eligable there is still a chance i wont get it. Last year they sent my membership package to queensland. And i didnt get it until around May, even though I sent away in december/january.

Not much going on in the football world today, so I guess it is.

Cazzes got theirs too...and also worried about the cost...

but in the dark old days we got jack shit (as in recognition for supporting the club) so to me it does have an up-side.

Mine and Lil' Miss Wojee's turned up yesterday. When she opens hers it's going to be "What do I do with this Dad?"
