Do you really think Denis would come out and say..

"Gee, where have you blokes been the past few weeks?! We're tanking like you wouldn't believe!"

Of course he is going to say what he said.

All clubs who have been where we are now and also the Pies and Hawks will spin positives of the club wining and all that .

Dont worry bout the blues i am certain that underneath all the spin doctoring they are doin all they can to be much stronger in 2006

Trade / Draft time will be very exciting for the Blues regardless there is a lot happening and hopefully all for the long term recovery for the Blues

I believe denis will try and win all remaining games. I belive him because that is what he said. i prefer to think people are telling the truth until otherwise proved. Keeps life simple. Incidentally Synbad also said he believes Denis is trying to win.

Oh and I also said before the Port game if we played like we had before the Richmond game i would think Denis was tanking but the fact is we played hard, desperate football and (unless Campo is the best tanker ever!!!) tried to win but a few errors cost us .

Tanking - Fish go out and miss those marks. Simmo forget the run lad. AB don;t get any hardballs.

No.

So what we are talking about is really the selection and coaching of theteam. Okay but once the team is out there they play to win so reality, selection.

All year Denis has made selections diffwerent to those I often expected but 1 thing holds true throughout this year - he will not/does not rush the kids in. he is playing to the big picture - his big picture, not mine or yours PJ or anyone elses.

Oh and then there is Collo - him I have no idea about, I haven't heard him saying anything about the issue 8)

Good answer.

The way he has handled the kids this year has been absolutely fantastic.
Over the past 2-3 seasons he has has given them little bits of time here and there, and now all of a sudden they have just exploded on to the scene.

I want PPs (even next year I'm greedy  ) but obviously it's just as important to get a winning mentality and improving a bit each week. And given recent results we're doing that at the right time of the year!

We all can't be as omniscient as Synbad!

While it is important to get a winning mentality and some momentum into next season, what do we have to look forward to after Round 22?

We're not playing finals which means we won't be playing for a flag.

What we have to look forward to is the Trade Week and the three Drafts.
All 4 of these events will see us bring in the necessary talent to help propel this club forward to it's next flag.

It's useless trying to develop a winning mentality three game shy of season's end when our season was over a long time ago.

Why post something with logic and sense, you've just put to shame about 300 million tanking posts, all of which were leaked by someone inside the club who knew someone who knows someone who posts on this site. Oh well our fun has been shattered and some sanity might prevail.
:-D :-D :-D

Danny, please clarify this statement.... in your opinion, do you think Collo has a different philosophy to Denis?
