Peace now Prometheus
you have given us light
and with this we now see
tanking is the only way to go
being on the bottom
the only place to be
so peace Prometheus!

While the sharp talons
rip your intestines to shreds
for daring to show us the way
you can rest assured we see
that the only way to go is to lose
and lose and lose regularly;
Pago Pago has turned into Zues
and Denies us all opportunity
with his ruthless will to win
regardless of the time or place -
he sees not that his time
Like Cronus before him
has passed and our time
is now at hand
so peace Prometheus!

Rest easy on your slab of gossip
CG has taken up the call
and now we'll have a new diety
to follow into the heat of batttle
only this battle we will lose
and the dead, though gone,
shall gain no honour, nor glory
we fight to lose, we fight for priority
rather than a fight for victory
so Peace Prometheus!

We get it
We See
We understand the dilemma
and accept gracefully
this fire that burns
we should have relinquished
or else we shall be the ones
burning eternally
upon the slag heap of history -
what use sixteen cups
with no lips to drink?
what use heros past
when the battle is here and now?

So Peace Prometheus!
We lay down our arms,
we unstud our boots,
we'll slide down to the bottom,
preen ourselves endlessly
like blonde St Kilda players,
do whatever it takes,
but not win a single game
until Zeus is slain,
the heavens collapse
and Rome is in ruins.

Peace Prometheus!
We will relinquish today
and accept tomorrow's misery
is a future worth holding
so peace, peace I say,
rest easy bringer of light,
shower of the way,
rest easy,
Prometheus my son.

Peace Prometheus,
sleep thee well
during these dark dark times
maybe tomorrow we'll sack Zeus
and erect Hades in his place
then we'll all have the fires eternally
so peace please Prometheus!

Oh! dannyboy, you have just proved what I've always suspected.

You are not living in the 21st Century.

Prometheus is a hack and too slow to make it at AFL level. See if Sheedy will swap a 3rd round pick for him.

I know people with that as a surname.......

Dannyboy.... i really really really hate your stuff.....
You can jumble the letters swap them around ... use different words but they always are the same......

Kind of like our team when we take out Johnson and bring in Bowyer...
