HAs anybody else heard the rumour that the Pies will be presenting us with a giant wooden spoon if we loose tomorrow night?

First up........................ain't no chance we are gonna loose tomorrow!

Secondly.........................what should we do to them?

I vote we buy one of those 'Blow Up' sex dolls and dress it in either a collingwood jumper or a gold jacket and pass it round the MCG!

Maybe even tie a few helium ballons to it and let it slowly (and noticably) fly out of the MCG with 5min to go in the final term!

What do we all think?

We should be the ones laughing at them if they win

After yesterday in Adelaide, I think Joffa might need to keep his spoon close by...
Extra incentive for the Dons to lose today. :?

I reckon if they lose next week we should get an M1A1 Abrams tank and park it outside Lexus Centre and stick a big Lexus badge on it.

After yesterday's dismal performance, how can the Magpies not accused of tanking?

That would serve us right for beating them and presenting them with a priority pick...

Personally if a Collingwood supporter handed me a wooden spoon i know what i would do with it...

**mandy hands Synbad a wooden spoon.**

Then takes it back saying "Oh, I'm so sorry. This is not for you." 8)

Clem, do you reckon it was tanking or simply a spanking?

I think it was a genuine premiership contending team ramping up for the finals, chewing up and spitting out a team which was running at about 75% effort.

I know which option I'd prefer to believe. But sadly it's just not the case.

Turn round, drop 'em and bend over, mandy...

Tanking AND spanking.

Collingwood aren't that good, but they're also lying down to ensure the PP.

Resting key midfielders for entire games up forward and giving key forwards the rest of the year off

How can anyone deny it?

Blueboy - I think it was both.

But, seriously, I thought Collingwood were "disappointing" last year and "underachieved".

I mean, if you believe Malthouse, then they are tanking.

If you don't believe Malthouse, then they are worse than us.

I'm very torn on the tanking subject, and how you people feel about it.

On the one hand, I abhor the whole idea of my team lying down for picks. But then there's a part of me that doesn't want to believe we really are that bad.

On the other hand, if we finish last and get the picks...... it will make me happy just knowing how much it will piss you guys off. 8)

As long as it nets you a spoon I'm happy with the picks we'll get.

At least it will be one more thing you can't bag us over.

Collingwood have the best chance of winning this week. Although I REALLY doubt they could.. they might catch a Bulldogs side with not a lot to play for. They can technically do it, but I doubt it.... maybe they won't be up for the game??

We're a chance to beat North, but I doubt it. They're playing for their finals life.

Hawthorn will get done like a dinner by Sydney.

I reckon we'll get Murphy and Drum.

I reckon the hawthorn players would be bleeding, and will come out hard for a win next week... Remember Hawthorn are Sydneys bogey side. 8)
