I can see why its a Carlton site with more people going for Collingwood this week. Lucky its not like this outside the internet community cause we'd have no fans come Saturday. |

It's the same over on the Collingwood sites... Really, it's not that the majority want to lose...it's just that after a shit year...we get so close to getting a decent selection of picks, and the team seems to be playing well again...  Most fans would love the team to be winning...just wish it happened earlier and the extra picks didn't come into play.
It is just a frustrating year... I love you db...but perhaps just being a bit melodramatic here? |

haven't read any pof the threads, probably won't. Just wanted to thank the mods - especially mrs caz and of course camel man - you've all done great jobs. I have met some great peo0le through this and the other site - it has really been fantastic but, well i can't, i just can't approach this game with only my head, my heart just demands involvement. Hope everything works out, maybe things will settle down, maybe we can all get back to barracking again, not wanting just to win flags or be the best, but barracking, you know, loving that silly jumper no matter what and wanting to see it do well, no matter what. thats whats its aleays been about for me. A kid wathcing a shit team with Keka at fullforward become great, the marlvelous 70's and even through JE's tortuous reign, just barracking, just getting along to see the boys and scream and let loose and forget everything but that cute little white cfc. Dont forget to read the ghost though and the other writers. See you soon I hope, if not. Thank you all again. |

Don't say that. If it's for the reason I think it is, then trust me when I say I understand. It's happening to me too. (obviously not here, but over on the darkside forums). Allow people to have their grand delusions of PP's and the instant magic that will bring. We know better. Pity them, don't desert them. They'll need us later to pick them up and bring them back into the real world of supporting their team no matter what. And they'll apologise, and they'll thank us. Stcik with your club, stick with your board db. Otherwise, it makes you no better than them. |

. Can you explain this to me mandy? At what point will we thank you? Nobody can ever be proved right or wrong in this matter. If a premiership is won after priority picks are received then the pro tankers will attribute it in part to them, but the anti tankers will say it would've happened anyway. If a premiership is won without them then the anti tankers will say 'vindicated!' but the pro tankers will say it would've happened sooner and easier with them |
