and I'll go and support them again next week hoping they'll win and the week after. I go to the footy to see my team win Not go and watch my team hoping they lose! All this draft crap is just that Build a bridge you lot We are being shown what happens when players are there that want to play and have the ability. Seriously SHHH, how many players in that list can you build a team around? Possibly Waite, one day. Surely no-one is fooled by a couple of wins against (a) Richmond, last season's 16th placed team and (b) Collingwood, who had at least 8 first-choice players out and went into the game with a dubious mindset. We haven't magically turned the corner, any more than we suddenly 'clicked' when we won 3 out of our last 4 last season. It was a mirage then, and what happened last night is also a mirage. Three key positions Fullback - hope that Hartlett can step up? CHF - the toughest position on the field, and we're hoping that Carlos plays there? CHB - Bryan, our stopgap ruck gamble from the VFL? This tells me one thing, and it isn't that we've got a lot to look forward to. It tells me that draft picks aren't 'crap'.... they're our lifeblood. |

Our key, star players have been terrible this year... just imagine, Campa, Stevo, Kouta, Whitnal, Scotland were playing awesome football, consistant football all year.... along with the likes of Fish, Waite, Betts, Simpson, Walker, Bentick, playing good footy... We would be no where near the bottom of the ladder... it is not about lack of players.. it is about lack of form. Can't wait until this season is over and we can look forward to 2006. |

Beat me to it JM. How can players the supposed quality and experience of Campo and Lappin be out of form for a whole season? To me it just shows that their time may be up and there stars waning. |

I rate Simmo........rated him since he kicked a goal running the whole field against Sandy back in 03. AB has to show he can match it with the best. He's done everything asked of him so far late this season |
