Post subject: | CHRIS BRYAN UP FORWARD ? |
Last night when Bryan wasnt in the ruck he was on the bench except for the last quarter when he went forward and kicked two goals, and damn, he looked dangerous. The guys got a great grab and has got some good mobility ( He was out of position in the goal square but not only made the contest, he took a great mark running with the flight ) Does anyone else think that he could be a key forward when not relieving Barney in the ruck ? His long kicking would make him very dangerous around the half forward line or closer to goal where he would provide another marking option. Personally I prefer him up forward to Deluca or even T-Lo and it just seems a waste to have him on the bench for half a game. |

agree totally cant see the point of having him getting splinters for half a match when he could be used up forward i have been saying this since Barney came back |

He is a mountain of a man, is mobile, beautiful mark and super kick. At 197cm and 100kg he complements Fev, Betts, Waite, Fisher and the like. Going to be even better with more work in the gym and running over the summer. One of my favourite Carlton players! |

Yep Bryan is one of the best Kicks in the League on Technique Certainly he is the best Kick for distance at the Blues and probably still able to improve / refine his kicking. I was told when he was training in the Bullants that they have seen him roost the ball up 65M on occasions quite regularily |
