All through the last two years I have heard you keep on saying that you need talent to be competitive let alone win enough games of footy to be a finals side

I have openly accepted this and have never criticised your coaching of the team even when the results were a 100 point flogging as I believe you knew what was happening and that you saw the bigger picture.

However pleased be advised my opinion will change if we win another game this year.

Please Den I am begging you, swallow your pride for the time being and dont worry that our next game is against our clubs biggest rival or that the last game is against your old mob or that this will result in your first spoon, just ensure we dont win again this year

Thanks Den I know you will see it as I do and that you will ensure another couple of losses is on the cards

Regards
MACFART

I second that.

The only way I will be able to put Black Friday behind me is by getting pick #1 & #4 this year.

I can see Denis now: 102 years old, sitting in a rocking chair in a nursing home, thinking about the great letters of this life.

1) Letter from Queen for reaching 100
2) Letter from MacFart about tanking for picks
3) Letter from Alice Cooper asking to model his makeup on my facial wrinkles

... and so forth

Can we PLEASE consolidate the "tanking" threads.Surely it doesn,t take a Brain Surgeon to realise that in general most are sick of what can be generally described as an unpalatable topic.

I have desisted from commenting previously but feel compelled to add my tuppence worth..

Unfortunately my Mother passed away last week and was buried Friday in rural Victoria. As can be imagined this was a particularly depressing day for me.As it happened i spent Saturday night at a good friends house and was able to watch the Footy.

Let me assure everybody that a Victory against Collingwood was the perfect fillip.

I am first and foremost a Carlton Supporter!

Condolences, 7Dom.

Glad the boys did it for you and your mum.

I agree, have one big tanking thread, like Warren, or a whole tanking forum, where all the tankers can get together and tank off together.

Condolances 7Dom,

Dennis is gonna rebuild the team his way, if it upsets a few, then so be it. Personally after giving him a spray a few weeks ago, I am very happy with his approach of late. Great to see the team play positive football and having a crack, can only see us in good stead next year.

As Dennis said a couple of weeks ago. 'I want the team to have a winning culture.'

Condolescence to you and your family 7Dom. At times like this you realise that there is a life outside of the 2005 national Draft

Even though I don't have much time for you & your posting style 7Dom, I am mature enough to put that issue well aside given the magnitude of your situation.

It is with regret that I read of your mothers passing and it would be fair to say that everyone in the online Carlton community wishes you the best in what can only be described as a very, very shattering & deeply upsetting chapter in life. I personally feel for you at this time of loss and hope that you and your family can get over it in time. It won't be easy I know and I for one am dreading the day that one of my parents passes away, I can only imagine the grief that you are going through right now.

Stay strong and best wishes.

No... Blue Mark was talking about Demis Russos singing at the grand final.... not Denis Pagan.
