I've just returned from a Blue Suits lunch with Michael Malouf (CEO) and a few directors of the club.

Main points:
1. Scotland and De Luca signed contracts, Carrazzo close to signing
2. Carlton's list will be younger on average next year (read into that what you will)
3. Club will post a significant loss this year (expected, as part of a three-year plan to address the financial health of the club)
4. The Melbourne Storm are likely to play their home games at Optus Oval while Olympic Park is being redeveloped (3 years)
5. Carlos will be on the senior list next year
6. Braddles and Kenny Hunter spoke very highly about AW. They said he'll still take another year or two, but then watch out!!

Carlos is going to add real grunt to the team. Thought Scotland may have done enough the last few weeks to keep his place on the list.

If I where Houla I would be a worried man.

Thanks Blueburn a post that doesn't talk about the T word.

A younger list is interesting. Scotland deserves a new contract, has finished the second half of the year very well in the Mjonc Best and Fairest.

I didnt know Carrazo was out of contract. Is it a contract extension or was he out of contract at the begginig of the year? I assumed he would have gotten a new contract when he was placed on the senior list at the beggining of the year.

thanks for sharing the good news BlueBern

we all know Scotto CAN play, he just needs to be a lot more consistant

DeLuca has shown glimpses but I'm not totally convinced on him yet

great to see my favorite player Carlos being rewarded....he's gonna be the one to "set the tone" next year I reckon

Carrazzo was only given a 1 year contract at start of this season. So he was out of contract at season's end.

But no problem now - it is a done deal!
