Had this discussion last night over too much red wine but thought I'd throw up this left field idea as a plan for our next coach.

The suggestion is to recruit Michael Voss in 2007 on a 2 year deal as a playing on-field Assistant Coach to Denis Pagan (I think he is contracted to endo of 2006).

He would only play basically as a permanent forward with occasional centre bounce work and probably time off the ground.

He would provide tough on-field leadership and tutoring to our up and coming leaders but the plan would then be for him to retire and take over the coaching reigns from Denis.

He was a mad Carlton supporter as a kid.

Could this work? - if not Vossy what about other prospective coaches like a Nathan Buckley.

Cammo?

Cammo had the same idea and still thinks we should do it as far as I know.

Hasn't been raised before on here, mate.

Was just saying that Cam had mentioned it to me before.

You also said that we should follow Collingwoods example mid way through the year. We finally did it today.
