Just had some nice Italian Chianti, and as it will, it made me think.

It disappointed me, as I grew up in a house with Essenscum fans and they thrashed us!

It was a Chianti Classico alla Murphy, which made me happy!

I bought it about 1 week ago, which is how much longer this farce of a season will last.

I made pasta sauce with some of it, it was stirred with a wooden spoon.

It made me feel ill while eating it, but like medicine, I took it knowing I would feel better come draft time..

And also, continually hearing that by hating it now, I am short sighted and ignorant, as the only way it'll taste better is if it tastes like shit.

And I was told it would all be better come draft time, and we pray it dosn't make me sick like some others have... e.g. Murray Vance...(Someone told me he would be a star).

But someone is still yet to explain... why has no team that has had to taste this nasty bitter thing, had the sweet taste of success soon after?

Brisbane won a spoon and won flags... who else has?

The only way we'll win is to lose? That makes sense...

If you believe that, how about this one?... I have a bridge to sell ya...

How about this one... I am embarassed and humiliated by our performance today and more embarassed by the fact that some people here were pleased by it...

I love Carlton... That makes me a freak around here these days...

Call me short sighted or ignorant or fat or retarded or whatever, I want my team to win every week. And I don't care if we miss the next Martin Leslie or Murray Vance or Sam Bowie, or whoever.

Adelaide (no spoons) beat St Kilda (lotsa spoons) for flags...

Port has never won a spoon and they are the reigning premier...

Essenscum won 2000 and haven't gotten a spoon since 1933 or something...

I can wait for 2072 when this pain pays off...

I am going to be here listening to Mary Poppins... Just a spoonful of bullcrap helps the spoon go down...

But when you bought the chianti (God knows why anyone would buy chianti and pretend it might be a hermitage)... but anyway.. when you bought it you didnt buy it thinking it might make you sick right?
the fact that you may have had a bad chianti (i can understand that happening) didnt stop you from buying another chianti cos you know youre not going to enjoy your pasta with water alone and youre hoping the new chainti will make your pasts more enjoyable....

See i actually think that man wouldnt have used fire if man didnt get burnt by fire once before and then learned how to use and prepare fire with experience.
If man wasnt an animal curious and eager to maaster something we would all be eating flesh straight off the carcass...

But because were not animals.. we have learnt to adjust and experience has taught us to stand up and walk upright.

Fortunately there were those who dared to continue on and not just cower in their cave for the fear of the unknown.

Enjoy your chianti and your food... and know someone actually did get the wine right and thought of the recipe for your dinner... it didnt just happen.

Port has never won a spoon but it ddid have some gun South Australians handed to them on a platter....

Dont worry about Essendon* theyre not too far behind.... the irony is when they get there their coach will have made sure there is nothing for them to help get them up....

Funny about those arrogant coaches and clubs...

Any liver and fava beans to go with that Chianti?

Sorry, just couldn't resist.
