Rehn has resigned from West Adelaide and is looking for an assistant's position. We must go after Rehn. He'll not only be what we need as a full time ruck coach, but he'll also be able to continue to nurture his young charges in Russell and Hartlett as well as bringing some much needed premiership experience to the club, not to mention some new blood to our coaching staff.

I hope it's not an on-camera role.....

And I don't think we'll actually miss him that much. I'm not convinced he's had a positive impact at the club anyway...

see you later libba

welcome rehn

if the club doesnt bust their ass to get this bloke they are made.

Madden is doing an okay but i think we need a permanet Ruck Coach as well as a Assitant Coach.

Forward - Assistant Coach - Wayne Carey
Defence - Assistant Coach - Peter Dean
Centre - Assistant Coach - ??
Ruck - Assistant Coach - Shaun Rehn

Assistant Coach - Barry Mitchell
Master Coach - Dennis Pagan

that sees Trout, Libba and Sticks on their asses.

Not saying I disagree with you, but I'd be pretty surprised if Elshaug went. Libba, not at all surprised. Sticks, tough call with a club legend, but it is probably worth considering his position.

I would let TE go. DP has to cut the cord at some stage!! Sticks has had a go - time for him to move on too.

Yes to Rehn coming in!! He would make a good ruck coach and even Bullants as BM might need to take over Libba's job and concentrate on the midfield where we are constantly smashed!!!!!!!!!!!

On SEN this morning Libba was talking like a guy who knew that he wasn't going to be at the club next year. He was quite candid with his opinions about Fev. It was refreshing really.

Bloods appoint The Weed to top role as Rehn resigns
Quote:
...The dual-Crows premiership and Hawthorn ruckman said he's had no offers to join any club but he has had "enough interest" to suggest a future as an AFL assistant coach...

..."I've had (outside) interest as to whether I'd be keen to have a chat. As for actually working anything out, no, there's been nothing yet," Rehn said. "My family is very important in all this and if it's the right fit . . . we'll have a look at it. If it's not, that's not going to be the worst thing in the world either."...
