For those who do not have enough time to seek out the wealth of wisdom and wit contained in the average week of TC, I propose a weekly thread where a nominated TC’er gets to precis the highlights of the week in their opinion. The anointed one would then choose a successor to take up the responsibility for the next week by starting a new thread with the same name but changing the date. This proposal is not meant to detract from the POW, which is on a pedestal as the ultimate compliment from TC colleagues, but “the week that wasâ€

If it was up to me I would nominate this post as POW, but the theory behind this post is that it isn't to replace the POW. Can you see the internal conflict I am going through here?
