Bentick is right up there in terms of average number of disposals per game for NRS eligible players this year. His name is in up amongst some very high draft picks. Lets hope he can keep developing his game. If he had played more than 9 games he might have even given the NRS award a shake. From FootyWire: http://www.footywire.com/fw/web/ft_play ... t=RA&st=DI 1 Jordan Lewis Hawthorn 16.16 (average number of disposals per game) 2 David Mundy Fremantle 15.53 3 Adam Bentick Carlton 15.33 4 Brock McLean Melbourne 15.26 5 Brett Deledio Richmond 15.23 6 Heath Shaw Collingwood 15.00 7 Troy Chaplin Port Adelaide 14.50 8 Benjamin Davies Collingwood 14.29 9 Adam Selwood West Coast 14.17 10 Kepler Bradley Essendon* 13.89 |

Jordan Lewis has been very good. Tough, hard at the ball and more than adequate skills. Of course Collingwood could have taken him but they swapped the pick with Hawthorn. Bit of bad luck that. ![]() AB works as hard as anyone, thats why he will succeed. |

In simple terms he is a goer.Never takes his eyes off the footy. And doesnt crack the sads when he is benched or dropped to the magoos ( which is too often for my likes ) Lacks a yard and gets run down too often. But i reckon he is the type to work his backside off to overcome his deficiencies.Like this kids whole approach. |

AB has been good.....like his work ethic...never gives up...and agree his tackling is excellent and he looks bigger in the upper body, maybe the weights program is having some effect now... Jordan Lewis is a good player, I liked his bio before the draft and it was a obvious theme from Clarkson that he was looking at youngsters who could play straight away and have some impact..wondering if there is much upside in Lewis and will he improve ? Deledio should win the NRS but I reckon Ryan Griffen is as good and the Bulldogs recruiters were right when they rated Griffen as their No1 pick... |

I agree with Elwood it will be between Deledio and Griffen. Probably Deledio |

Deledio will win it hands down. Closely followed by Griffen and Mundy. |

Good luck to AB and Simmo tomorrow. Enjoy the lunch and represent the Blue Bags with pride. Hey Jarusa old buddy I have a quick question for you. I noticed that Deledio played all 22 games in his first year in the AFL. Have many other kids done the same since the draft started? Regards Cazzesman |

Regards Cazzesman I know David Rodan did it in 2002 - look at him now ![]() Sorry Cazzesman, do not have that data handy, have total games rather than on a year by year basis. The only one I could guess off the top of my head was Buckley, but he played 20 of 22 for the Bears. Edit: Judd played 22 games in his first year, but 1 of those was a final. Fraser played 21 games in his first year. |
