BOUNCING LIFE BACK INTO SUBURBAN GROUNDS

The State Government today threw its support behind an Australian Football League program aimed at breathing new life into Melbourne’s former AFL/VFL suburban grounds.

The Premier, Steve Bracks, joined AFL Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Demetriou, at St Kilda’s Moorabbin Oval, supporting the improvement of Melbourne-based facilities for clubs and encouraging greater community use of these areas.

“Victoria remains the spiritual home of AFL football and its social and economic impact on our State is immense,â€
