A simple question...

Who do you think is the single most important Carlton player to hang on to?

Why isn't there an "all of the above". The sun would still rise if any or all of them went. At least we;d have a better excuse for being shite...

Personally I think Jarrad Waite and Andrew Walker. Everyone else has a price or a bottom line. Those two are the core of our future.

lappin.

Kouta - dodgy knees, once was warrior....
Campo - not showing sufficient leadership to the kids - still the petulant schoolboy footballer
Whitnall - easy to play well as losse man in defence - do not be fooled, his football "brain" is the best bit of him
Fevola - complete head case - it's either us or him.

and that's only because yu said I had to pick one, otherwise they could (and should) all go.

No question - Lance for me.

When you look at age, ability, experience and leadership he leaves the others in the dark.

With Fev, you only get to tick one box and thats age - the rest is a myth. He hasn't actually produced anything consistantly as far as ability - and let's not get confused with 'potential'.

camelboy, in fact i just voted just then... :P

I voted Fev....

This is a club wiithout a face .. at least the club is spoken about with Fev.

Wed have a boring club without him....

Like Onassis used to say.. "Bad publicity is better than no publicity at all"

And not all of Fevs publicity is bad.....

We need to be 'out there'.. were carefully constructing the most boring club in the world....so we need Fev...

I had a chat with a board member a few weeks ago who said Fev should go because he is a 'stain on the club'... i asked him if the current side is not a stain on the clubs history and why single out Fev.. when at least with Fev he gets people talking about us... rather thaan the other uncharismatic characters around the club at the moment.

Some people live in the past.....

Were no longer the great Carlton.

In fact if it were up to me.. id lock the cups in a cupboard and bring them out when were a realistic chance again.. were living on past glories and its stunting our vision of winning the next premiership.

What we need is to start acting like a club who doesnt have it all under control and waiting for luck to click in but a club that needs to beg borrow and steal to get itself back into the bigger scheme of things that this club commanded in its past history.

Most people associated with the club think iuts all just going to happen automatically cos it has in the past...

It wont!!!!

Agree with Synbad Fev brings some excitement with all the gloom we have plus he kicks a lot of goals.

Fev! The rest of the players are all replacable

Kouta - Havent got long to go before the cutains go down
Campo - Won be in Carltons future team 2007 and beyond
Lappin - Similiar to Campo!
Whitnall - For what his market value is worth-> should be adefinate trade . We are nnot playing him at his potential (i think he is but opposition clubs dont know it). Any club could replace a loose man in defence
Fev - Power forwards are really hard to get and we have argueably the most promising. The forward line looks dangerous and should be left. Betts/ TLo, Fisher, Waite isnt a bad line up. If Fev leaves we have created another hole into the team. Cannot see Fisher taking the best backman each week and consistantly scoring!
