This year "bird" teams have been very successful... Crows, Eagles and Swans all finished in the top 4, and two of them will fight it out for the premiership tomorrow. Also Eagles, Swans and Magpies have won the last 3 Brownlow medals - and who can deny that the other "bird" team, the hawks, aren't on the up.

So the solution is simple - we need to change our name to that of a bird. Sure, we'll need to keep the traditional "Blue" in there, and that's why this guy is the obvious choice :-

Carlton Bluetits

I can hear the cries from the outer now - "Up the mighty Tits!"... and I can see the headlines "CARLTON'S BLUES ARE OVER, AS TITS IMPRESS"
