Jarrad Waite....so much raw unharnessed ability; he reminds me of a young stallion that still needs lots of discipline and direction. As much as I would hope he is our next permanent CHF; I still think he's best suited to a wing at this stage of his career. There; he can run and make play and perhaps keep out of harms way till he's mature enough to hold down a KP. Still....I'm basing my thoughts on 2005....who knows in 2006? |

Anywhere but defence; just don't understand these suggestions of sending him into defence. |

He played wing in his debut year didnt he? I say he plays wing. Fish could take his role up forward and so could Saddo. Him and Tex on the wings would be next to impossible to match up on. |

36 goals 23 behinds in 2005! no longer is he a wingman what is a CHF these days? we in fact may have many players who play in the forward line as opposed to a traditional structure. and a backman? - why not when needed. |

One area Waite must improve to be a regular CHF is his kicking.Despite this he must play in attack because he can be dangerous. |

HFF. Also possibly trying him in the middle for short stints, when we are getting killed in there. May be able to use his big body to good effect in the middle. |

Half forward flank for mine. Make shift CHF for us this year and possibly next year, but won't be a long term CHF. If we do happen to move him to another position at least we now know he can play CHF if required. |
