I cannot remember exactly what helmet said on the dias at 87 GF which lead to the microphones being removed. I remember it was a tribute to Mots, Dessy and Bernie. Would appreciate it if someone can tell me exactly wha he said

From memory it was along the lines of....

"Motts...Dessy...and @#$%&! Bernie..."

Did he add something after...like 'You little beauty'

He then proceeded to stand up on the rail and jump off. Which was a trick the lads used to do in the spa after the game.

Priceless!

That was 95, not 87.

Always good for some post victory antics was Deano.

you are spot on Deano. Got my Premierships mixed up - theres one advantage St Kilda fans have over us!

My favourite moment of the '87 flag has to be sticks version of 'Stand by your man' with the finale of pouring his pot over his head.

It was 1987.

Something along the lines of :

"Mots, Dessy, you are f(*&^*& bloody beautiful......."

It was not 1995.....

i think you'll find everyone knows that the tribute was in 87 but the rail jump in which deano slipped and feel on the ground, only to run back up on the dais and jump up and down, then sprinting over to his teamates, hurdling the rope barricade to be hugged was in 95

I've just played the moment a few times; he said:

"MOTS....DESI....F***ING BERNIE BEAUTIFUL!!" (and it was)

They banned the podium mike after that one..(spoilsports)

Imagine if we had won 8 in a row.I reckon Dean would have flopped it out once the bag of post game celebrationary tricks had been used up.
