Can anyone who has been a recent regular at training confirm if Jarrad is walking in a moon boot to help with stress fracture problems.

What's the prgnosis here? Does he still have a while to go before competing the recovery process? Will he particpate in normal training before Christmas? I really want Jarrad to take the next step and become a top tier player. He has shown he is close but the time has come to take the next step. This is an unfortunate setback

Training on the soft, nice Optus Oval grass then playing on the pathetic Dome surface is enough to give anyone stress fractures. But we made the move wisely I'm sure, of course

Nah, we've had problems with stress fractures long before the shift to TD. Remember a couple of seasons ago when pretty much half the team had them?

We still played at TD a lot then, and now we've ensured we're there even more often

It'd be caused by running on hard surfaces which is why they usually occur during pre-season when players are running on asphalt and the like for time trials. The Telstra Dome has nothing on asphalt for stressing the body while running. I lost almost 1/2 a season due to a stress fracture in my shin :(

I blamed him as well. *shakes fist at heavens* Curse you!!!

I doubt TD had any impact on this particular injury. The extra training for the IR wouldn't have helped.
