Why did you pick those specific players when most people would suggest that 3 of them will not be at the club in 12 months time ??

Because they are part of our list now. whether you or anyone likes them is not relevant. They are part of the playing group, they train, the dream, the are in the mix, their passion, their hopes, their confidence affects the list. How's that?

Fair enough.

Just thought it would have had more clout if you'd named Fisher, Walker, Carrazzo & Thornton.

I have to hand it too you. You are a bloody good supporter - heartfelt, passionate and with a lean on all things positive. If i ever get close to a game again, i am hunting you out and the beers are on me.

Great article again - thanks for being a shining light in what is sometimes a very dark tunnel of skepticism, uncertainty...doubt.

...and your much more readable and believable than anything Michael Stevens and The HUN want to throw up.

well done

thanks for the intro DB

LB: Sheik, nice to meet you....can i shout you a pint?

Sheik: As long as it's cold....I have to warn you LB that I barrack for Carlton

LB: hey Sheik, you support the blues as well...!! good on ya buddy.....i am with you

Sheik: don't you just hate some of the cynical crap about the blues that comes out between seasons?

LB: I sure as hell do.....but for a refreshing change you should tap into this dreamer of a Blues supporter who writes all things positive about the blues past, present and future.

Sheik: I don't believe you.

LB: Sheik try out the Ghost on CFC website....who knows he might actually be one

Let's try that a second time :

LB: Sheik, nice to meet you....can i shout you a pint?

Sheik: Sure you can, I enjoy a beer just like the rest of them. Now I have to warn you LB that I barrack for Carlton.

LB: hey Sheik, you support the blues as well...!! good on ya buddy.....i am with you

Sheik: don't you just hate some of the piffle that gets put up on the Blues website between seasons?

LB: I sure as hell do.....but for a refreshing change you should read the teachings of His Holiness, The Dalia Lama. He's not a Blues supporter but at least he's positive about life past, present and future.

Sheik: He'd have to be better than that Ghost idiot.

LB: Sheik, the Ghost article on the CFC website....who knows where he gets that crap from, he might actually be smoking cones I reckon.

Sheik : Drink up LB, my shout, then we'll talk about the glory days when we won premierships at will, hey, maybe we could come up with our own article for the CFC website ............. ?????? :-D

I don't think an article telling all the readers that they are wrong, shortsighted and don't understand football would go down too well.

Thanks for the article Dannyboy. What is it about?

I'm just trying to come up with things that irritate (or irrigate) sheiky baby.

If you truly wish to undertstand, read this article while sitting on a camel telling some deaf crocodile about the things you are gunna do one day.

I will try that some time.

Thats your first article since the season ended, isn't it? You posted a while ago that they were too depressed to write - have you recovered?
