I was disappointed we didn't snare Alipate Carlile. No-one called Alipate would've played AFL/VFL before, I'm sure. Small mercies. I was hoping we might take a chance on Ryan Gamble... ..or maybe a duffer from Queensland named Daniel Dzufer. Andrew Ainger is an interesting one, classic case of white line fever...though the boy needs to be told there's no "I" in anger. Glad we didn't pursue Marcus Crook, he's often unwell. It's hard to imagine we didn't, even briefly, consider Michael Vandeklashorst. Is there a quiz? |

And either way, the Collins board is determined that Crooks not be involved with Carlton any longer. We're doing everything above board now. |
