I don't know or care which section this topic belongs in because i am so inuriated at the attitudes of some of the people on here. Recently we have lost one of, although controversial, our best posters. We all know that every thing on here comes down to opinions, and if one is not allowed to express an opinion then what the hell is the point of posting???

Since a recent public event i have become good friends with this poster and considered him a genuinely great bloke to talk to. Because of recent happenings, regardless of the circumstances, he has decided to take no further part in any of the Carlton Online Communities or their organised events. I find this a shame and an embarassment to the community out there. it is pathetic that someone can be treated in a way that he wants to exclude himself from anything to do with you's. After discussions with him, he has told me that the issue is deeper than simply being treated badly, its about a mate having a mates back. The people who he considered great friends, the ones who he met through various events with TBV or TC, decided not to stick up for him.
I'm not sure if he wanted any of this posted, but i find it necessary. Him walking away from all of this is a great loss to the Carlton Online Communities. As long as people have opinions there is no way we can all get along on here, or in life at all. I know this, he knows this and you know this. During the short time i have been apart of the Online Communities i have had my share of bad days - times when i said something that may have been mis-interpreted. Everyone has had their bad days...so why do we have to be so critical of one-another? We are allowed opinions and we will always find ways to express them. I hope that your relationship hasnt been affected with this person because he is a fantastic guy and i couldnt have more respect for him than i do at this moment. His decision to walk away, although heartbreaking, is the most honourable and courageous thing you can do.
It is your loss....
You should all be ashamed...
