On the Carlton website, notice that most, of not all players who have played 200+ games for Carlton, played in at least one premiership team.

Can anyone help out whether any of the older guys like Rod McGregor, Ken Hands, Frank Gill or "Soapy" Vallance played in any of our earlier flags?

There are 29 players on that list. Would be amazing if all had played in a premiership. Just shows if you hang around long enough at Carlton, it will come.

From memory Lance is going to break the record next year for most games without a flag. I can't remember who holds it now but I think Lance is second.

Who would have thunk it?

(All the 200 gamers have at least one I believe)

McGregor - 4 of the first 5
Hands - 1945, 1947
Gill - 1968, perhaps?
Vallence - 1938 - his last game.

Hopefully Whitnall can snare a Brownlow like James did then.

The Gill who played in 68? and 70 Flags was Barry Gill. Same hair cut as Cashi and I have - Bald too early in life!
