With all the excitement of the draft most of us have forgotten about our other new player..Anthony Raso....never seen him play or train and have no idea on how he is going or the clubs expectations....with Jake Edwards and Brad Fisher we seem to have some variety in this 3rd marking forward area now...I guess you can add Jarrod Waite to that group as well. How has Raso gone in school footy this year and has he grown any?...with Brendon Fevola still a unknown in terms of attitude would those who know anything about Raso consider him Full Forward material for the Bullants with a view to pressing Fev for the senior job especially if Fev doesnt get his arse into gear and get his attitude right....not speaking in terms of senior selection for Raso this year but more for the following year. |

HAven't seen him at all, but there seems to be a big groups of kids , and now a big group of big kids. Fingers crossed they all make it. Hopefully Raso has had a year of preparation under his belt which will only help. I guess by recruiting we took him out of the TAC systrem so we won't know a comparison |

And here I thought Hartlett was the forgotten recruit. |

Too true. He's an interesting one Elwood: maybe a measure of Hughes ability if he comes good. Seagull was fairly astute with late picks but was pummelled for early choices, ( which seem to have been directives from the club itself from what has been posted here). Raso is a major sleeper compared to Hartlet at this stage. Love to see him get up but he's under a cloak of no other design than lack of gameplay presently...F*#k'em up Raso. |

Obviously Hughes is a huge wrap on this kid as he was drafted a year early With all these tall guys around 190-195cm we could have a very potent versatile team if most make it. |

Well we have Raso, Hartlett, Setanata, Bryan, DeLuca, Edwards, Kennedy trying to break into the team next year!. We are finally getting a decent depth in our squad. This also means eveyone has to work harder to earn there place in the squad because some one will always be waiting to get a chance. I suspect the most of those player wont play more than 15 games this season but the future looks brighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
